Tourist Information Centers
The C.I.T. – Tourist Information Centres are welcoming and informational centres for tourists visiting Palermo and for citizens discovering their city.
The C.I.T. personnel is formed by qualified operators who, in all European languages (English, French, Spanish, and German), can:
- provide printed material such as maps, brochures, and information on all sites of touristic and cultural interest (monuments, churches, historic buildings, theatres and museums)
- suggest specific tourist itineraries prepared according to the visitor’s needs
- provide indications on planned events in the city
- provide information on urban mobility and on the presence of commercial activities, pharmacies on duty in the area, etc.
The C.I.T. are located in special points of the city which are of particular tourist interest due to their position.
